Newly minted Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said something this week to anger many of her Democrat colleagues and constituents.
Pelosi created a huge rift this week in her party when she made comments that she doesn’t believe it is the time to impeach President Trump.
Many Democrats have been riling up their base with impeachment rhetoric for the past two years without any thought of how they would actually achieve such a thing. Nancy has just shut them down for good.
“I’m not for impeachment. This is news. I’m going to give you some news right now because I haven’t said this to any press person before. But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this: Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.”
The liberals in this country were immediately outraged that their Speaker of the House dared to say that President Trump was not impeachable at this time.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders stopped by Fox News’ “Outnumbered Overtime” with Harris Faulkner for a chat about what these comments mean going forward and to gloat about the fact that Nancy Pelosi just admitted that President Trump has not committed impeachable offenses, despite the Democrats crying that he has for two years.
“I’m glad that she sees what the rest of us see, that there is no reason, no cause for impeachment. The president has done an incredible job in his first two years in office. The country is better than it has been in decades, and we’re actually making progress on a number of fronts.”
Amen to that. Sarah further suggested that Pelosi has officially lost control of her party as it swings further and further to the left.
“I think Nancy Pelosi is already starting to lose control of her party, I think we’re seeing that on a lot of the things that have taken place over the past couple of weeks. … I think it is time for other Democrats in Nancy Pelosi’s party to get on board and start doing what they were elected to do: Do their jobs, and quit trying to focus so much on making excuses for the historic loss that they suffered in 2016. Let’s work with the president and solve some real problems.”
This is what We the People have been saying for years. The host then asked Sarah if President Trump and his administration will fight back on the Democrats if they decide to try and impeach him.
“We’re focused on doing what the American people actually care about. Whether it is growing the economy, creating jobs… defeating ISIS, rebuilding the military, these are things that people sitting around in America actually care about. Nobody wants to see President Trump impeached –other than Democrats in Congress, who are failing and have no other message– because our country is doing better. They know that is hard for them to run against in 2020, I think they’ve got a very, very hard uphill battle ahead of them.”
This is why we love this woman as our press secretary. She tells it like it is and doesn’t let Democrats hold the world stage for long.
