First Lady Melania Trump excitedly unveiled her beautiful White House Christmas decorations this week. Melania has spent many months designing these decorations and was ecstatic to unveil them in a series of tweets on Monday of this week.
Some of the highlights include the official White House Christmas tree in the Blue Room of the White House, as well as a hallway of spectacularly red trees for visitors to walk through and marvel at.
There are more than 20,000 feet of lights, 14,000 ornaments, 12,000 bows, wreaths, 40 topiary trees, and a giant gingerbread house. The red topiary trees are reportedly “a symbol of valor and bravery” according to the office of the first lady.
But the most exciting thing that Melania wanted to reveal to reporters was her special ornaments that say “Be Best” on them.
Melania has spearheaded the “Be Best” campaign as First Lady ever since President Trump took office.
“The mission of BE BEST is to focus on some of the major issues facing children today, with the goal of encouraging children to BE BEST in their individual paths, while also teaching them the importance of social, emotional, and physical health. BE BEST will concentrate on three main pillars: well-being, social media use, and opioid abuse.”
Melania is a strong advocate for children worldwide and it shows in her dedication to them everywhere she goes.
Let’s SHARE this everywhere and tell Melania her decorations are beautiful!
