President Trump held a rally Thursday evening in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, one of the places that helped him win his historic election victory in 2016.
Trump was in town to promote his choice for U.S. Representative Lou Barletta in his race against incumbent Senator Bob Casey.
The Mohegan Sun Arena was absolutely packed with supporters who go to hear all the things President Trump is doing for the American people.
“We are respected again. The forgotten men and women of the United States are forgotten no more.”
Trump also touted his recent trip overseas where he met with European Union leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as the Queen of England.
All of a sudden, there was a commotion in the corner of the arena as protesters began to loudly boo the president and his supporters.
Trump immediately pointed to the protesters and said “get them out of here.”
With a swift, smooth motion, the protesters were taken from their seats and forced to depart the building as the crowd booed them louder than they had ever heard.
“Aw, that’s too bad. That’s too bad. … One person! One person! And tomorrow the headline will be ‘Massive protest.’”
The crowd burst into laughter and applause as Trump continued to call out the biased media on their unfair treatment of him.
