Eric Trump, President Trump’s son, showed his quick thinking skills last week after noticing a woman had fallen ill near a train stop.
Trump noticed the woman, who had passed out near the F train stop at 57th Street and 6th Avenue in New York City, and immediately dashed out into the street to make sure she was okay.
Eric was nearly hit by a bicyclist in the ordeal but told his security detail to stay with the woman while he went and flagged down a passing ambulance, according to the Washington Examiner.
“Not sure if the ambulance had been called for or if Eric managed to hail one out of the blue, but in any case his sense of urgency was clear and he succeeded in getting the paramedics to stop and tend to the woman.”
Eric made sure the woman was tended to and then continue to go about his day. When asked for a comment on the situation, he had this to say:
“I’m glad we were able to play a small role in getting help for the woman on 58th Street. We just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I’m especially grateful to the EMTs who took over. It was certainly my first time hailing an ambulance in New York City.”
We all need to help each other in situations like this and good on Eric Trump for stepping up to help this woman!
