On Tuesday afternoon, President Trump arrived at the Brown Field Municipal Landing Zone to preview the border wall prototypes in San Diego, CA.
Trump spent about an hour previewing each of the border wall prototypes that had been constructed under his direction. After making comments about each one with border patrol agents, he took a few minutes to speak with the press about his thoughts.
No one expected what came next. A reporter asked Trump if he had a particular prototype that he preferred and Trump’s reply left his supporters cheering.
“Well, I do have a preference. The problem is you have to have see-through. You have to know what’s on the other side of the wall. And I mean a preference is something like that, but you don’t know what’s on the other side of the wall… I mean you could be two feet away from a criminal cartel and you don’t even know they’re there.”
He goes on to explain his reasoning for and against certain aspects of the different prototypes. He also has a border patrol agent explain the benefits of a one-way see-through wall.
Trump’s wall will be the best thing to happen to this country, and he will not rest until he gets it exactly right. It DOES need to be see-through. But it also needs to be massive and impenetrable. Thankfully President Trump knows exactly what the country needs to be secure.
